The GBC (Great Ball Contraption) LEGO Jigsaw module (by Philippe E. Hurbain ) is a amazing simple design for a very efficient ball moving. I have create a XXL version:
I have gathered about 300 Soccer Balls with Black Soccer Ball Pattern (part no: x45px1) and Basketballs with Black Lines Pattern (part no: x493px1) for my GBC marble experiments. The soccer balls move all together one step at the time in a constant tempo of one per second.
One long beam, from the bottom to the top, with tooth, opposite placed inverted slope brick 1x3 (part no: 4287) , are pushing the balls to the next step.
